Snap-on Tools Up Expansion in Blue Ridge

Toolmaker Snap-on Inc. is adding 40 jobs at its manufacturing plant in Cherokee County.

The $2 million expansion results from a consolidation of Snap-on’s power tools manufacturing operation in Massachusetts into the plant in Murphy, which employs 178 people.
